Hey everyone I found this version of Pachelbel's Canon in D and I really want to find the sheet music for it. So if anyone can find any information on who's playing it (might even be two people) or where I can get the sheet music for this particular version that would be very very helpful. Thank you!

Just go to "Piano Street" site and ask. You're more likely to get your request fulfilled there.

I like the canon, I just hate savefile.com, it's slow and unreliable. I tried downloading the, but after three timeouts, I gave up.

Hey Strato... this version is George Winston's "Variations on the Kanon by Pachelbel." The sheet music is included on the silver anniversary edition of his December CD.

A good website: http://www.mfiles.co.uk/sheet-music-classical.htm

Scroll down to Pachelbel, Johann (1653-1706):

'Cannon in D' is right there.
Very nice piece of music.

Good Luck

Actually, many of us do not like 'Appassionata Sonata." Sad truth.

There are quite a few transcriptions of the Canon in D. I like the Robert Schultz transcription myself. Many say they like the Winston version.

One variation of Canon in D that I really like is Lee Galloway's transcription of the piece. For me, I'm 'learning' the Dan Coates "easy piano" version of Canon in D. It sounds a bit stripped down but for me, as a beginner, is what I need right now smile
I obtained the Coates version from sheetmusicplus and Lee has his own website with the Canon and other mp3's to download.
Most everyone think's it's a bit cliched and done to death but that doesn't stop me from liking the piece! laugh
