Hi. I was just wondering if anyone here have played Schubert's "the erlking" together with a singer? I am currently playing it with a friendsinger, and darn it is fun. It's the funniest i've ever played. What do you think of it?

If you can do the repeated octaevs in triplets at quarter note = 160 without getting tired, then you have my admiration because there are about 10 people in the world who can.

I love that song (not piece ). Those repeated octaves are crazy, but what sucks is that I can't find a singer good enough to sing it so there's no point in learning it. Maybe I'll learn the Liszt transcription of it for solo piano. That thing is insane! Mike
