Hey guys, i just wanted to get some opinions on a composition of mine, sorry for the poor performance, but i had to improvise during the recording.

Get off the major/minor/7th chords and try experimenting. This is just a series of arpeggios rearranged around- there is no melody.

I disagree on the above assessment. There is a melody that happens after the introduction. Perhaps natej didn't listen to the whole thing?

Anyways, thanks for sharing! There are some compositional rules that are different from improvisational rules, so I will treat this as though you intend this to be a composition.

Repetition is important, but don't repeat something more than 3 times without totally changing the idea. It's very hard to get away without that change, and it's very easy to get stuck in repeating the same motive with only minor changes, but then it's get predictable.

You've got a good start and a nice idea, now it just needs some refining. Good luck!
