Does anyone know any good piano/music pages? Maybe ones about schools, sheet music, general information, theory, composers, blah blah blah ect? Here are a couple of mine that I like to visit alot. 1.)Free Classical Music Links: http://www.freesheetmusicguide.com/classical.htm 2.)Piano Pedagogy Message Board: http://www.sunflower.org/~bhugh/messageboard.spm 3.)Brent Hugh's Piano Home page: http://griffon.mwsc.edu/~bhugh/index.html 4.)Royal Conservatory of Music/Glenn Gould school: http://www.rcmusic.ca/index.html 5.)The Chopin Files: http://www.chopinfiles.com/ 6.) Greatest Free Sheet Music Archive I've ever seen: http://www.klassikdatenbank.de/en/werke.php 7.)Piano Education Page: http://www.unm.edu/~loritaf/pnoedmn.html There are some more I know of, but I'll list more later on. Those were just some popular ones I know. By the way, does anyone know anything about the Glenn Gould school and where it is? The site doesn't seem to give too much information about it, but I would love to attend some day. I think it might be in Canada. Zeldah

I think it might be in Canada. I'm pretty sure it's part of RCM's schools in Toronto. I think if you contacted RCM through the contact link on the site, they'll be able to tell you. The RCM has a national exam program here in Canada, and uses universities, colleges etc. to conduct exams, but I believe it physically houses itself in the Toronto, Ontario area. See the addresses in the website. Jamie

Zelda:
The Glenn Gould Professional School is a division of the Royal Conservatory of Music, located in Toronto, Ontario. I found that out by going to the link you gave us.
Regards,

I had just found that link the morning. I guess I didn't really visit the other sections, just the Glenn Gould section. I should do some more looking around there because from what I've heard that school is extremely useful to a pianist. They set you right off on your career as a musician and make sure you get a job.

Another good one if all you want to do is just listen to classical music www.classicalarchives.com its a great site for finding almost any peice by any composer. A large, almost endless selection. I often go there to find out what the music I am going to try to play sounds like if I don't have the recording. Or, when I want to hear a peice once or twice to decide if I want to buy the recording. But remember: midi files are never as good as an actual recording!
