For New Yorkers and other nearby folks, Mannes' Etudes cycle will start Oct. 3rd. See below
“THE ART OF THE ETUDE” Performances of the complete etude cycles of Bartók, Brahms (The Paganini Variations), Chopin, Debussy, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov, Scriabin, and Stravinsky by Mannes pianists
Mannes Concert Hall Free and open to the public, no tickets required. Fridays at 8:00 p.m. – October 3, 10, and 17 Sundays at 7:30 p.m. – October 5, 12, and 19

[/b] Yeah, but it's probably for practicality more than anything else since they're so difficult. Now what would have been REALLY hardcore is if they added Bolcom's and Hamelin's etude sets to the mix.
