I am working on the Secondo on this piece. Does anyone know how the eighth notes or sixteenth notes should be played against triplets? If there is a single eighth note with a preceding eighth rest in the left hand against a triplet in the right hand, should the eighth note be played with the last note of the triplet? A similar issue occurs when there is a dotted eighth note with a sixteenth note in the left hand and a triplet in the right hand. Should the sixteenth note in the left be played with the last note of the triplet?

The other way to play these is to try to squeeze in the eighth note between the second and third notes of the triplet and to play the sixteenth note after the triplet. This is much more difficult, however.

By the way, this is the piece from which the theme of the movie Sunshine was taken.
