Who are the best publishers of the Mozart Piano Concertos?*

*They must include fingerings, so no Barenreiter Urtext.

I wasn't aware Broder did the concerti.

Barenreiter is by far the best edition. It corrects almost all errors and even includes the figured bass for tutti sections.

If you need fingerings, then you'll probably need to have a look at Peters or possibly Schirmer.

I wish Broder did have one for the concerti, I really like it for the sonatas.

All of my Mozart Concerti are the Peter's Edition. Here in Italy they cost about €8.00 per concerto.

What he said. They're actually fairly affordable editions for the quality. (ca. $25 a pop)

I own a couple of Barenreiter editions and, besides the peculiar lack of fingering, I cannot criticize them.

If you play enough Mozart, the fingering is obvious. Besides, if someone else's fingering doesn't suit you, isn't it better just to have what does, rather than mucking up the page by crossing out and writing over?

(Actually, if you play enough Mozart, the mistakes in some editions become obvious.)

There are also good editions from Peters and Schirmers, although you may need to know which ones they are.
