How much money does it take to study in American music college? I am very curious about how much is the tutition fee and other stuff. Is it expensive then other majors. (For South Korea it is double the amount) And also is musicology major is same price as the insterments?

Music is the most expensive major...prices vary. (Chemistry, I understand, is the next most $$ because of the lab fees)...
NOW, don't get upset, BUT - any academic pursuits at any reputable institution of higher learning in the USofA requires a pretty high degree of English literacy, including spelling, because you will find yourself up against the best of the best and the cream of the crop in the top music schools. And you will be required to do extensive research projects...

If you're thinking of attending college in the US in order to get out of the draft, then I don't think it's worth the cost, particularly if you're going to major in a nebulous field like musicology. I still think the best route would be to return to piano performance as a major. The two year's military service I don't see as a problem. You should be able to pick up right where you left off on the piano afterwards. The time away from the piano should actually be beneficial overall--think of it sort of like a vacation where you don't have to practice for hours every day.

It hasn't been clearly determined that Mr. Paik is thinking about enroling in an American music program; he may just be comparing prices.
The suggestion that "the best route [is] to return to piano performance as a major" seems to be misguided in view of three important facts : 1) We know next to nothing about Mr. Paik's talents and skills, nor how far he has advanced in the study of piano 2) The competition to get into music programs with piano performance as a major - a few exceptions, notwithstanding - is so stiff that it requires exceptional talent and skills as well as years of preparation: does Mr. Paik qualify? 3) The successful career opportunities for someone who does graduate with a degree in piano performance are extremely limited.
