Hi piano lovers! I have just met a new girlfriend  who also like to play the piano like me. We have been talking about how funny it would be to play a piece for four hands since we haven´t done that before. Is it someone who can recommend a piece for four hands that isn´t to hard?? Some of the Slavonic Dances by Dvorak are great.

Mozart has some good 4-hand pieces, and lots of people have recommended Faure's "Dolly Suite," although I've never played it. Faure\'s Dolly Suite Mozart Works for Four Hands

The Schubert Fantasy is pretty difficult, both musically and technically. I wouldn't start with it. You might look into Weber's 4-hand pieces, the earlier Mozart sonatas, Moszkowski's Spanish Dances, Schumann's Pictures from the East, and arrangements of Haydn's Symphonies to start.

I recommend the Moszkowski Spanish Dances if you're beginner-intermediate. They don't have a lot of musical substance (the're bon-bons), but they are great fun to play!
More in the just fun category are the 4-hand versions of some of Leroy Anderson's music, like "Sleigh Ride," "Fiddle Faddle," and "Blue Tango." They're corny and campy, but much fun if your primary goal is to have fun rather than to make "great music."

The Poulenc 4-hand sonata.
(You have to cross arms a lot, so it's a good flirt piece!)
Also not too hard, in C Major, and great fun to play.

I just did Ravel's mother goose suite recently, and it is a great piece, and not very difficult either.

There's some Brahms waltzes for 4 hands, not all that challenging.
I was born the year Glenn Gould stop playing concerts. Coincidence?

Yes, the Ravel and Debussy Petite Suite are pieces that can be done pretty early on. Faure's Dolly and Bizet's Children's Games are a bit more difficult.

The best flirt piece is Der Leierdreher by W. F. E. Bach for 6 hands. The man sits between the two women and plays the outside parts.
