my memory is not what it used to be. Maybe I need to play "Turkish" March round the clock, no? Anybody wants to enlighten me on this?

Andrew,

Maybe this explains the Smashing Pumpkins. (No offense to those who like the group and/or enjoy their music).

Regards,
Mike

Mike:
I hope this doesn't mean that you are now already appreciating "Smashing Pumpkins" instead of the Schumann you liked when we first chatted.

Andrew:
My god! I'll have to keep practicing harder than ever. You mean I'm going to have to spend my old age listening to Britney Spears!

Does this mean I'll never grow to love Hindemith's "Ludis Tonalis" by my golden years? Oh, POOOO! \:\( ;\)

Bruce,

Smashing Pumpkins is easy to play. I just bang on the fall board with a ball-peen hammer, whilst setting off firecrackers on the soundboard. As for Schumann, now that takes work. But well worth it. I'll never, never, never give the classics up.(Although I would really like to learn to play show tunes and jazz as well).

My problem is that if that article has any ounce of fact in it, I'm doomed. I'll never be able to play the stuff that you and the other folks play. Sigh! \:\(
