in the 3rd movt towads the end, where the diminished chords are played quickly as demisemiquavers one hand after the other, there is a bar on my music which seems to be missing a quaver beat.
you have the F# A C D# then at the last one there are 4 demisemiquavers and then a dotted minim. am i reading it wrong or does anyone else have that mistake???

If you mean m166, it has four sixteenths (not thirtyseconds!) and a dotted half-note, which seems right to me.

Just providing a translation for us Welsh people, in bar 167 (in my edition), there are four semiquavers and a dotted minim. If you look at bar 165, on the other hand, there is a quaver, four demisemiquavers and a minim. BTW I've just found out that quaver in Welsh is cwafr accordingin to the Department of Welsh at University of Wales, Lampeter. Welsh doesn't have a letter "q" so "cw" is used for this sound instead as in the cartoon duck Wil Cwac Cwac (geddit??). Also the sound "v" is represented in Welsh by the letter "f".

OK hopinmad, what edition do you have? I have four, and I looked this up in each:
[1] Peters (ed.Martienssen) b.165 has quaver, 4 demisemiquavers, dotted minim.
b.167 (the one in question I believe) has 4 semiquavers, dotted minim.
[2] Schirmer (ed. von Bülow) - ditto
[3] Curci (ed. Schnabel) - ditto
[4] Rather ancient Augener edition I picked up in a junk shop, ed. Ernst Pauer - ditto.

Oh no I dare not to. I am not good enough to learn a sonata in a week or two so if I bought the complete sonatas it would just kill my motivation for practise.
I'll play the misprinted bar (or misread bar) as the previous one, or however I hear it on recordings.
