Most people just call in saying they can't make it so the box office can open up the seat(s) for someone else.
The reimbursement comes in the form of tax relief for unused tickets.

You might also be able to call the box office, tell them that you can't make it and have them exchange the tickets for you. I've done that before, worked just fine. Too bad you can't make it! It sounds like it would have been really cool!
