Well, the season is here. Anyone here know where I can find some online sheet music of christmas piano solos like how sheetmusicarhive.net provides sheet music for classical music? I was hoping you guys can suggust something like that where it is easy to access, without the account mumbo-jumbo.

Thanks.

I don't know about online, but I can sure recommend a book! "The Definitive Christmas Collection" for Piano Vocal Guitar by Hal Leonard has 124 great Christmas tunes for only $30.

This time of year, just about any music store will have tons of Christmas books available.

Just buy one.

It keeps the publishers in business and if you don't think praising Jesus is worth $15, you probably shouldn't be celebrating his holiday. smile

Hello!
Some of my favorite Christmas music to play is "Lorie Line". It's not very hard, which makes it fun to just sit down and play. I know that's not what you asked, but order one of her books, she has several! Have fun!

I don't know about on-line, most of the stuff on-line in seasonal music appears to be melody only or extremely simplified.

But I can whole-heartedly recommend the Reader's Digest Merry Christmas Song Book. Found through searching the PW archive (on "Christmas") and bought from Amazon. Nice arrangements of just about every Christmas song you've ever heard and some you won't have. Simple enough to play quickly if you're a reasonable sight-reader, and complex enough to be satisfying for you or listeners.

WynnBear, I agree with you about the Readers Digest book. I really enjoyed learning the "Silent Night" song from there. I like how they combine the vocal staff with the treble clef as well.
