Hey, i just realised that its really hard to tell whether or not the people posting all of these messages on this forum are male or female. Some of them are really obvious (like me!) but some are very ambiguous. I though we could do a new pole to see whether there are more boys or girls on this forum.

I guess i'll start - Female.

Anyone want to go next?

http://users.rcn.com/jkimball.ma.ultranet/BiologyPages/S/SexChromosomes.html

"The nuclei of human cells contain 22 autosomes and 2 sex chromosomes. In females, the sex chromosomes are the 2 X chromosomes. Males have one X chromosome and one Y chromosome. The presence of the Y chromosome is decisive for unleashing the developmental program that leads to a baby boy."

Since this is a discussion of gender, you posted an x and I posted a y.

Well, six posts later and we only know the sex of two people - and before anyone else gets confused (as we (actually me) apparently do) thats sex as in gender - not the other kind!

I'd presume, then, that you are not looking for answers such as "Yes, please" or "No, thanks. I'm allergic to cooties."

Well if you want to share that information with me - feel free - but that wasnt necessarily what i was looking for.

(ps Id just like point out now that i dont have 'cooties' so i guess there would be no reason to say no!)

I used to think I was a teenager, but after puberty died down and razor burn, grumpy monday mornings and relying on coffee to stay awake in english lit...I think I'm turning into a man

So, you wanna know about my sex? Well, last Thursday I... :p

Physically, a young, strapping man. Mentally, a five-year-old. wink

Every day we are afforded a new chance. The problem with life is not that you run out of chances. In the end, what you run out of are days.
