Not THAT young... I'm old enough to play Mendelsohnn's Rondo Capriciosso and Shubert Impromptu 2. That's how I keep track of age... laugh with pieces

I need help with composition. If you have Finale NotePad installed, please ask me to send the file somehow and rate it. Or send an Adobe Reader copy of the music.

I have some chromosomes, too. They were developed in a darkroom.

*laughs* eek laugh thumb

Ah, that can be taken so many ways.

Hmm...while we're in the "age" area (I don't think this requires or warrants a new thread):

How many of the "elderly" pianists got a late start on their careers, and how many successfully dug out of the hole of lost time?

LOL. Thanks Richard! To be called right on when you reach 33 is quite a distinction...even if I'm not quite sure which particular comment made me so...

BTW, if you're actually NE born and bred, the Durham accent is also pretty right on. wink

Hey Richard! If you're in Durham you're not that far away from me!!! I'm in a little village called Greenside about 5 miles out of Newcastle. I know thats still about, what 30 minutes drive away - but its still alot closer than America!!

Wibbly_Pig:

Right on about the PW dating service; it was turning a bit "blind date", hence my entry laugh

We're in the minority but if you prefer - (Curls moustache, picks up cane and dons monocle) -absolutely spiffing observation, my dear chap wink

Actually I'm from West Yorks but writing my PhD at Durham. More "ee bye gum" than "alreet me marra", I'm afraid.

musical princess:

Hello neighbour; small world, eh? I get parts for my car from Swalwell, I walked on Hadrian's wall at the weekend and I'm just off to my piano lesson in Shotley Bridge this afternoon. And I'll be studying in Newcastle from September. Hurrah for the North-East!

Outside, inside, out:
livin' la vida loca....

You are quite right, Derulux, but you're not the first person to say that and I daresay you won't be the last.
