Tis curious how pi**ed is censored but Peter's craftily inserted t*ts seems to be fine \:\)

In the US, many would not blink an eye when someone exclaims "waitress, my coffee is cold and I'm pi**ed" but say "waitress, my coffee is cold and you have a nice set of t*ts" and you will likely be slapped.

I do not believe in censorship.

I do believe in good manners, however.

A statement to an unknown waitress, about her attributes, would be totally inappropriate. Why would anyone say that they are P/O'd because of a cold cup of coffee? One merely asks for a fresh cup!

Since this is a forum about pianos, it should remain as such. I don't think that "ticked off" would be edited out. Stretching further, if I described the sound of the bass in a S&S-D as "ballsy", it would probably be posted. We shall see if it is posted with asterisks.

This is a public forum which deals with something that we all consider to be quite special, i.e. pianos. Are street language and sailor-speak necessary to convey a message at Piano World?

I really don't think so.

Well, as Frank says, his wish is for the posts to be family friendly and "g" rated or at the most "pg".

I think the overwhelming majority of us post in such a manner that the list of censored words is not taxed very heavily. \:\)

If anything, this is one of the least moderated forums I've ever been in. Very little is removed, edited or censored. \:\)
