Any of the Chopin Ballades except the 4th (it's longer than 10 minutes.)

How about: Liszt - Un Sospiro (Concert Etude No. 3 in D-Flat Major) Rach - Prelude in G Minor A beautiful, arpeggiated, love-filled sigh and a marked, martial, almost threatening march. The Liszt is about 6 minutes long, and the prelude about 4. Total: 10 minutes. Can it get any better than that?

Any Beethoven, Mozart of Haydn Sonata interests you? or you can do first movement of a Sonata, that maybe like 3-4 minutes, and another piece to fit into 2 minutes time frame, like a Debussy or Ravel, or Bartok, Gershwin - his 3 preludes are short and sweet. Rhapsody in Blue may not be a favorite for the judges....who is hosting it?
