Only when I sit down to play. ;\)

I have noticed that when playing "easy" pieces, I go into overconfidence mode and the brain starts to wander. When the brain/finger connection goes out the window, then so does any hope of flawless playing.

I always throw in a few mistakes just so I don't get too big headed.

I remember (this is going back 40 years, now) sitting down for my lesson and hitting one wrong note after another. I turned to my teacher and said, in all seriousness (even though I realized it sounded ridiculous), "There's something wrong with this piano!"
