Definately the creepiest piece I've heard in a long time, especially some movements of the 1st movement.

It's such a weird piece though...

Ginastera is a favorite of mine, and it's great that you got something out of his second piano concerto, which is one of his more uncompromising works -- it's definitely a wonderful expressionistic nightmare. Have you listened to his first concerto? It's perhaps more effective to audiences in general (last movement particularly).

I have, his 1st concerto is certainly more conventional sounding than his 2nd concerto.

But I suppose that's why his 2nd concerto stands out to me as something totally different.
