Woo - hoo!

Happy piano!! And quite a "grand entrance" as well. I must tell you that this the first time I have ever seen piano movers riding on[/b] the hoist with[/b] the piano.

Keep the pictures coming!

Cool pictures.

What's it hanging from, a sky hook?
(I don't see the crane).

Cool pictures! I have to say when I first glanced at picture number three ("piano packed") I looked at the truck to the left with the dumpster in it and thought "what a strange way to deliver a piano!"

Can't wait to see the rest of the story!

hmmm... looks more 7-feet-ish to me... is this an autocrane they are using for lifting the piano? pretty expensive way to do a delivery, isn't it?

BTW, don't you have any issues with safety at work, here in South Tyrol they would put you, the crane driver, the workers and their collective bosses into severe trouble if they were riding on the hoist...

anyways you just gotta post the rest of the pictures, I'm soooo curious...

I decided to turn the piano around, because I think I was not really good sitting against the wall reflecting all the sound. The Pianos tail is now in the corner and the keys in the middle of the room.

Does any one have other suggestions for placeing the piano? I'm not sure about this yet, but maybe I have to get I voiced down just a little bit.

Congratulations! I really loved seeing these pictures. It's so amazing to see a delivery that moves up toward the sky instead of through the door at ground level.

I imagine I'd have my eyes covered until it was in it's place in it's room! Wow, those are neat pictures.

Good you chose this beautiful Steinway!

Imagine the move of a piano being more expensive than the piano itself..... \:D

I personnally like the second setup with the "tail" in the corner better. But I feel free to move it around as i wish *g*

Btw - I'm reading a lot about how expensive this move must have been. I actually dont have a clue, since I was included. I hope it cost the dealer more than the piano LMAO.

Enjoy your piano! Its looks great. Just ensure the instrument is not near any windows, heating or air conditioning ducts. You paid good money for it. Best wishes and cheers!
