I thought you were speaking in jest, but it is indeed strangely catchy!

But it's "random notes!" And yet it's an effective and enjoyable piece of 21st c. sounding music! [let flames begin]

Sounds a bit like Petrushka to me. What am I missing here? Random notes?

playadom,

That is not the score for the Faerie's Aire and Death Waltz, that is the String Quartet No. 556(b) in A minor for Strings (Motoring Accident).

Faerie's Aire and Death Waltz only has one page. Here it is: http://www.well.com/user/bryan/waltz.gif

The one I posted seems to go with the music better. As if one could actually tell with such a convoluted score.

Perhaps I should have titled the thread better laugh

The piece in question was a joke-piece, the intention was to create the most convoluted and crazy sheet music ever seen, and someone has apparently transcribed the sheet music into a MIDI for us all to enjoy.

An eeeexcellent performance of this little piece.
I'm so glad I finally can hear it; I'm having sooo much trouble figuring out the tenth measure, but now I've got a reference interpretation to work with! You play it much better than me though. (sarcasm off)
Seriously, this is crazy, and now I've got some weird chords stuck in my head from this.
