Hi, does anyone have any tips on how to sightread pieces better? I do try to look a few measures ahead of what I am playing, but I still have trouble sightreading.

Do it more frequently (ideally for a designated time each practice session until it becomes more fluent for you), and don't just sightread piano scores - read from four-part choral scores and orchestral scores also (this will also help with transposition skills).

i take 20 minutes in the beggining of my practice for sight reading. it works on my sight reading skills and warms up my hands!
