We're looking for pianists to post reviews of the new repertoire website and online magazine found at www.recitalworks.com

As an incentive, we're giving away 6 free copies of Practiceopedia - the massive 376 page fully illustrated colour book of practice ideas and help - to the 6 best written (not necessarily the 6 most favourable!) reviews that were posted here at pianoworld.com forums.

You can read more about Practiceopedia at www.practiceopedia.com

Otherwise, to be eligible to enter, just post a review with the subject heading "Recitalworks review: YOURNAME". Entries close at the end of May.

Are these pieces genuine concert items? Labelled appropriately as to difficulty? Would love to hear your thoughts on these questions and any other reaction you might have.

Recordings of all works are freely downloadable at the site.

I listened in on several of the pieces. I like the thoroughly pianistic cadences and tone combinations. Some of the harmonies are surprising yet satisfying at the same time.

From a technical point of view, the sound qualities of the audio files are about as good as can one can get via computer speakers.

I can see how some classical pianists might enjoy ordering the sheet music and learning to play some of these pieces. There is something special about playing music recently composed by living persons.
