Got a thing in the mail today showing upcoming performances for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. It shows Kissin playing november 9th saying it was his only concert of the 08/09 season. Is there a reason for this?

Maybe it's his only concert with that particular Symphony?

If this schedule is accurate, it looks like his only U.S. appearances in 2008 are in Boston next month. The Chicago appearance isn't until Feb. 2009. It looks like he is doing mostly European appearances this year and more dates in the U.S. next year.

My guess it means just in Chicago. And they word it that way to hype it up.

As with most of the pianists I want to see he will be flying right over us. Sigh. Although this has been a good season w/ Angela Hewitt and Marc-Andre Hamelin giving recitals in Denver (they didn't see the maps that still indicate "Here there be dragons" apparently)

Do you mean that Kissin will have any performance in Boston in April or May 2008?
If yes, what is the information about the performance? Or, where can I find out for this issue?

If you think denver doesn't get the pianists you want to see, then you should come live in Hawaii.
