Hello-

I am in the market for a baby Grand. I seem to enjoy the action of the Baldwins. I loved the Bostons by Steinway, but it's out of my price range. The Yamaha's did not quite cut it for me- too heavy action.


-When buying a piano, what % of the retail cost can I expect to negotiate with the dealer?
- What models of Baldwins do you recommend that is between 5 and 6 feet?
-Any other recommendations for something with excellent touch?

You can get lots of advice on this forum, but given your questions, I think you should start by reading Larry Fine's 'The Piano Book'.
