Calling all Eastern Pennsylvania (& NJ, NY, MD, DE...) piano enthusiasts (Bruce, Rich G., Fritz, Hillary, Amy ....et al). My wife and I would like to host the first (at least I think it's a first)piano get together in this area. I've listed some dates in the hopes that we could arrive at a date that's mutually convenient for everyone. These are all Saturday dates. Start time is tentatively slated for 7PM and will run until the food, wine, cheese runs out, fingers get tired, or Monday comes. Please feel free to suggest other dates and times, if these don't work for you.

We are located in Doylestown, which is smack in the middle of Bucks County.

This invitation is also extended to anyone who might be in the area when the get-together gets together. The more the merrier.

i wish i could come! doylestown is about 20 minutes away from me! unfortunatly, because of my current hand injury, i cant drive at all, and i have doctors appointments at all sorts of crazy times! grr! i couldnt play the piano anyway !! well, anyways, maybe some other year. or maybe i will be able to drive by then!(or play)! we will see!

Amy, not sure if I can attend either, but I probably can...and given that you live so close...I could just about guarantee that someone could give you a ride.

Although I'd understand if you didn't feel comfortable getting a ride from some creep you've never met except on the Internet. ;-)

Thats pretty far for me to come so I won't be able to either! Sounds like fun though! Just out of curiousity....is anyone near Brevard, NC or Lenox, MA? Theres a chance that i'll be in one of those places for the summer so maybe we could have a get together!

I was curious myself to know where Brevard might be. It's all the way out in Western NC, southwest of Asheville and near the border with South Carolina. Looks like it's not that far from where my friend is, who lives near Greenville, SC. It takes me a good 4.5 hours to drive to her place from home.

Actually, I might be able to arrange it. The partners who own the company I work at both have houses in Bucks County, I think. One is in Upper Black Eddy--I know, strange name for a town. Anyway, one possibility is I could take a bus out and stay the night at their house.

Or, if there is bus service from NYC to Doylestown, perhaps I could get someone to pick me up at the bus depot and leave me off there again afterwards, presuming there's a late bus back to NYC.

I'll let you know for sure after I've done a little research. Any of those dates would be fine with me. Sure would be exciting.
