I recently downloaded a CD of Sviatoslav Richter which included a few of Debussy's preludes - I love his playing of Debussy - does anyone know if there is a CD available somewhere of Richter playing all Debussy and/or Ravel?

Never seen one. Richter tended to be frustratingly picky about what he would record. (Imagine if there were a recording of all the Rachmaninov Op. 32?) Remember too, he only recorded a selection of the Chopin Op. 28. So it was with Debussy: a few things here and there.

I have a CD of Richter playing a few Ravel pieces, and the the 13 Rach preludes which he recorded. I'll go and find it once I've finished this damn essay :t:

This is what I have:

I have a recording with the preludes he recorded and L'Isle Joyeuse, and some wonderful Chopin, on the BBC Legends label - not sure how readily available that would be anywhere but the UK....I couldnt find it on Amazon either.
