Congrats!

Can't comment a lot, because of the bad quality of the piano, I'm afraid! But this is something to show to other people complaining about the state of their piano!

Well done and yes it does appear that your work paid off! Keep it up smile

dizzyfingers: Auntie Lynn criptically hinted at the fact that in the scene of academic music, 'songs' with no lyrics are referred to as "pieces". If I'm not mistaken, musical terminology reserves the term "song" to vocal pieces with accompaniment, and with a structure similar to today pop songs (verses, choruses, and so on).
Now that you are educated, you can go on calling them songs. wink

BTW, good work on the Chopin. It shows you've been practicing hard. I'll just add that if you have yor instrument tuned, it will sound 10x better.

That would be me. wink One day I shall have enough money to repair my piano and maybe post my own video...

It's a piece. Although I personally don't think it matters. You did a wonderful job! smile

ah now I get the piece thing. And I was so mad that the last two chords sounded like I played a totaly differant key the piano was so badly tuned! (Im almost in extacy when I play on my piano teachers tuned-every-5-minutes grand piano!) thanks for the encouragement though!

One note, its wierd how it sounds worse on the recording than in real life. Kida goes from "bad" to "much morserest". And btw, this IS my first piano recording.
