I am looking for a duet to play. I've played parts of the Dolly Suite by Faure but those are the only ones that I really know.

Mozart wrote nice duets which, for obvious reasons, don't feel as "exposed" to play as the solo works.

The boisterous 3rd mvt. of the D Major sonata or the 1st mvt. of the F Major sonata would be a good introduction to the Mozart duets.

To Amy regarding duets, I am working on the Schubert Fantaise Opus 103 with my friend. It is a wonderful piece but also a challenge. We did the Petite Suite by Debussy last spring and loved it! Also, I just discovered some Ravel duets that we read through and are going to try. We have some friends who like us are amateur pianists and they worked on some Clementi sonatas. We haven't tried these yet, but when they played them for us, we liked them. mmdlpl@aol.com
