Does anyone else think that the 3rd movement of the "pathetique" is harder than the first movement? I have a much harder time with the 3rd than the 1st.. Maybe Im just good at tremolos lol....

There are many factors that contribute to ease - or difficulty - of execution of figures and passages - and those factors often vary from one individual to another.

Crazy? Not for the reason you state!

Whether or not you're crazy, and the 3rd movement being more difficult than the 1st., are not mutually exclusive statements.

But I'll agree your evaluation is not so crazy. I remember those tremolos were no problem for me, but the more intricate passage work in the 3rd mov. took more work for me.

As BruceD said: it varies among individuals.

I believe the 1st movement is much easier than it first seems. Apart from stamina, the LH part is obviously simple, which is the reason for the ease of the first movement.
