During the prior topic I mentioned a Sonata that has been shown to properly synchronize brain waves for a temporary boost to brain power. I didn't know the particulars of the piece and said I'd report back.

It is the Sonata for two pianos in D k448.

This research was done by a Dr Shaw who has written a book on the topic and the results of his research. I have not read that book. Here is a link to his website...

I would assume that you should be very careful with practicing either part of this piece alone. It might make you a half-wit.

I wonder what would happen if you practiced it hands-alone?

Perhaps you would suddenly become a raving liberal or conservative, depending on whether you were learning the treble or bass parts...
