I've already posted this in another thread but nobody seemed to be reading it (or at least replying to it) so I'm re-posting it for all to see:

Hey everybody, Look at this episode guide that I just got off the official Frasier Website:

Quote
FUSSY FRASIER FUMES OVER FATHER'S FOIBLES -- On the eighth anniversary of the day Martin (John Mahoney) moved in with him, a resentful Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) chafes at the notion that he and his father are like "an old married couple," and when Martin accidentally spills oil on his carpet, Frasier accidentally but utterly destroys the old man's most cherished item. Meanwhile Niles (David Hyde Pierce) launches a crusade to teach both Roz (Peri Gilpin) and Daphne (Jane Leeves) how to play the piano-- unfortunately, Daphne would rather tickle Niles than tickle the ivories.

This new episode is scheduled to be aired on November 6 on NBC. Sorry, I don't know what time. Sometime in the evening I suspect. Please check you local tv listings.

Be Sure to watch!

We've read it, jgoo. What are we supposed to reply?

Wondering ...

Well, I just thought that some people might show some enthusiasm since we have been talking about the use of the piano in Frasier lately. I can't wait to watch. I've always liked Frasier anyway though.

I LOVE Frasier!
Doe Kelsey Grammar and David Hyde Pierce actually play the piano? I'm so impressed with those two.

Carolina,
I read on another thread that David Hyde Pierce is (don't know about Grammer for sure). Pierce apparently has played for a long time, studied it in school, realized felt somewhat intimidated by his peers' abilities, and transferred to English/drama. Maybe a move in his best interest (I enjoy his acting). smile

"Is" should be "does" (as in play piano).

Delete "realized."

There, now it should make sense.

Well, so, did anyone watch the episode? I did, and can't figure out why it's the only time I've ever seen the piano's lid DOWN - its up, warping and gathering dust when its a background prop all the shots in other episodes, then its DOWN in the episode that they actually play it. ? Jodi

Yes. I saw that episode. I also noticed that the lid was closed. It was still a good episode. If you didn't like it, you can set it on fire and through it off the balcony. (Joke for those that watched).
