So last night I saw some "Home Movies" that a person had edited and put music to in the background. I heard a piece, which I am almost certain is a Mozart work.

I sat at the piano today and tried to come up with the main melody from memory, and came up with this, in C-Major:

E - E - E - E-F-D-F-A-G - E-G -

I am not sure if that's quite enough to go by, but I imagine it's a popular enough piece that the short melody I could remember is identifiable.

Yes, it is Mozart. Eine kleine Nachtmusik, 2nd movement.

Boy, do I feel like a horse's petute... That speaks a lot about my knowledge of Mozart. Of course, I know the first movement, which everyone does, but here I've never sat down and listened to the whole thing.
