It's a small grand. What are these pianos like? Were they stencil pianos that were cheap and marketed for the player aspects? I get to tune one Tuesday.

Of course it looked liked a samICK. The regulation was in really good shape. Made a second pass with what I thought was a better stretch setting and things weren't right but after the third time with the hammer on the pin the strings started to seat and the octave stretch was apparent from the aural checks so I arrived at a setting that when the SAT was on A5 and the lights stop when A3 is played, A4 was .4 cents wider when played.
a narrow center octave. The chord structure sounded right. The piano doesn't have the best tonal quality.
Took longer than I liked.

Tuned the next one in an hour.
That's fast for me.

When I said narrow center octave, I meant in the 4-2 octave of A3 A4. the 2nd partial of A4 was sharp of the 4th partial of A3 by less than 1/2 cent. 3rd/ 10th test is almost equal.
