For those of you who are taking or have taken Randy Potter's course--I'm currently taking it and I am stumped on what the correct answer to one of the questions is. I've found most all answers are directly found in the text if you search for them, but this one is one that's hard to come up with.

On examination for Chapter 1.4, it says, "What are four things all beginning students have to contend with at this point in their studies?"

Although I could list several things off the top of my head that could fit as something I have contended with, I can't find a printed four point answer within the text of that chapter.

Am I cheating too much to ask for some help on this one?

Some of the questions are hard to find and not always the best way to spend your time.
1-You can't hear very well yet
2-You can't move the pin that well yet
3-You are not sure if you are doing it right
4-You are not sure the piano is good
Good Luck with the course. I am getting through it slowly. It has taken almost a year but I am busy with family and work. Hope you getting a lot of time on the right end of the tuning hammer.Pete

Persevere with this course. I did it about 8-10 years ago and my tuning life is superb. Note the 8-10 year comment is a true representation of the time as I also was invovled with family and a full time job. I retired 3 weeks ago from the full time job and have gone from part time tuning to no time for anything else but tuning. love the people I meet, Don't always love the pianos. kb
