Is there a website where I might drool over some Kluge Keys?
I haven't found any. Specifically looking for the rosewood/ebony black keys. And want to see if they offer anything else like them, or 'them' in any different options.
Thank you, Roberta

Rick Wheeler at Roseland Piano in Oregon makes some awsome black keys of ebony/other - maybe rosewood if you ask him.

Mason and Hamlin offers them as an option on some pianos: http://shusterpiano.com/pub/DSC02367.jpg Email me, and I'll send you a bigger version to blow up. They do look nice... I've heard 'em called "blacktops". --Cy--

Thanks scutch, I found the website and it seems they make keys to order. Now that is a different niche isn't it?
Cy, it is the rosewood/ebony keys on a MH that I fell in love with! I then saw some other ones on an upright Knabe that were not as well made, but at least another reference and it made me think that hmmmm, maybe these are going to be in vogue!
So I was wondering if there was a website that showed the different keys that Kluge makes to see if there was some other style similar to the MH ones. If I order an upright, the keys are something that I am considering.

Wonderful side pic SUPPLY!
So I guess there are not 'other' unusual black keys to consider. Not that I mind...I just thought that maybe others might be out there that I had not seen.
I am still not sure about ordering a piano with these or having a tech that I trust locally install them.
And the cost of either/both. I got concerned when looking at a piano a couple of weeks ago, and was told...well, besides the installation there would then be the added voicing etc which might add up to a substantial am't if not done by the factory and local store tech to begin with.
Thanks for your past and future input.

Quite interesting Cy. Thanks. I thought it involved the whole key leading to the action part.

Lilylady, you wanted to see some more sharps? How about ebony sharps with striped inlays on top or light colored sharps with designs and patterns in dark wood inlaid on top? As in most things, the sky is the limit, and the wallet is the only bottleneck. check out: http://www.pianofortesupply.com/keys enjoy.
