Can anyone recommend a piano technician in SantaFe or Albuquerque NM?

I found a piano that I am seriously interested in, but want to verify its condition.

Thanks in advance.

My technician is Charles Rempel. I've used him for several years and I just took him to San Diego to verify the condition of a piano that a friend is interested in. I would trust him completely (although, since you don't know me, I'm not sure how much that last comment is worth). He travels frequently between Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

His number is (505) 480-2440.

You might try Nick Gravagne in Abq.

Here is his web page:

Good luck! \:\)

Yes. The seller's tech has done an assessment, but, I'd like to get an independent opinion.

I tried to get a tech over to their place to see it, but the sellers had a problem with that particular technician. By the time I could contact another, they had (apparently) cemented the deal with you (contingent on a good appraisal, I assume). The whole sequence of events seemed a little odd to me, but good luck with it. I would be interested in hearing how it all goes.

By the way, can you recommend a good technician or two in the Chicago area?

Try Rick Cornwall of Cornwall Music Services.

I found him through the "Beautiful Sound" a Steinway dealer out of Burr Ridge. I can't seem to find his phone number but here is his e-mail address: Rcjcorn798@cs.com

I've used him for tunings and a regulation and have been very pleased.

Charles was just here to install a damp chaser on my piano and said he had looked at the MH AA. Did you end up buying it? He said that it was a very nice piano. Just curious.

Yes. I'm going to go ahead with the purchase. Thanks again for your recommendation of Charles who did the timely inspection.
