Marco Junior Member Registered: 07/01/01 Posts: 15 Loc: New York	I have a Yamaha U1(2000) upright. The keys on my piano feel hard to press when playing compare to other pianos. Iwas told maybe it needs voicing. Any NY tech/tuners kindly reply. Thnx

Hello Marco: Sorry, I'm no longer a NY tech, but I would like to help point you in the right direction. You may want to refer to "voicing by filing the hammers" which is another thread on this forum. Briefly, voicing should not be done until the piano is properly regulated. Heavy feeling keys may need to be eased, which is part of a good regulation.
