Hello,

I'm trying to find the manufacturer of our Piano.

This is really an old one (may be 100 hundred years) but in really good shape. And the sound and the quality of the piano itself seem's to be very good.

The writing on the fallboard is almost erase but
here is what I'm able to decode.

'The Webb Piano'
'Grand Concert'
'Sold by Mulhollin'

The piano serial number on the plate is '18790'.

But there is no manufacturer name at all. Nothing inside the piano (Near or on the plate) and nothing on the back of the piano. In fact I was looking everywhere.

I don't know if it can help but the piano action is 'Otto Higel Co.'

I have read somewhere that there was at montreal a 'Mulhollin Piano Co.' But I'm still unable to find any information concerning that company even in the Piano Atlas. And like I see on the fallboard, it says 'sold by' and not 'made by'.

Then if there is somebody here in the forum that
can give some more information it will be really appreciate.

Regards,

I know this wont help you but. It no doubt was an early stencel. The "sold" by is the clue.I'm sure
Mulhollin had them made by various factories.Happened a lot.
