I have a 1902(or earlier) Franz Goetz small upright which I am attempting to restore. Does anyone know of a USA source for swinging brass candle sconces (they were used to read the music). Also, there are two circular marks plus holes on each side of the cabinet. Did some of the older pianos have moving handles or some other attachments on the sides? I have a source for the sconces in England, but it is difficult to deal with them because of currency exchange, shipping costs, etc. I will appreciate any info or help. I am a DIY type, not a professional technician. Thanx, Fred Shaughnessy, Tehachapi, CA freds@tminet.com
