I've posted this a few other places around the web, but if any of you use a Verituner and are willing to give this style a try, I'd appreciate the feedback.

***************************
I've been working a long time with the custom style functions available in
the Verituner. I'm asking here to see if any of you with a Verituner would
be willing to try this new tuning style. One goal of mine has been to
create a single style that can be used for all kinds of pianos.

The sound I was shooting for could possibly be described as "calm yet
resonant". If you could reply with specific information, that would be
great! (not just, "didn't like it", or "nice") Also, include if you are
using the box, or the version for pocket pc, as well as the piano
information.

If you'd like to download the .vus file to your machine, I've hosted it
here:
http://www.filehosting.cc/?d=CFF081AE3
The file is called Koval one for all (thanks, David Bauguess)
(go to the bottom, type in the letters or numbers displayed, and hit
"submit")

Or, to enter it manually into your machine: (all beats set to 0.0)

A0 6:3 35% / 8:4 65%

A1 6:3 20% / 4:1 80%

C#3 6:3 30% /4:2 70%

A3/A4 4:2 77% / 2:1 23%

C#6 4:1 10% /4:2 90%

A6 4:1 63% / 4:2 37%

C8 4:1 90% /2:1 10%

(I think I got them all right...)
I look forward to any responses!

Ron, thanks for your contributions to the Verituner, and to this forum. I hoped to try this new style on a wider range of pianos by now, but presently I’ve only been able to use it on some P22's and other similar consoles. I especially like the nice growl in the bass and the sparkle it gave to the mids and highs on these occasions. I re-tuned one of the P22's by ear a few days ago and noticed how well the intervals lined up. I’ll be using this style as one of my favs. I still think Koval3a is the best I’ve ever heard on large to concert size grands and I stand in awe every time I use it. I still need to try this new one on something really big. Thanks for your generosity.

Hi Ron, I used your all-in-1 style this morning for an orchestral piano tuning on a wild Steinway B.
Very nice, worked well on Bernstein, as I heard in the dress rehearsal.

Thanks guys!

So far, the results have been positive, with minimal negative responses. (the description of one leads me to believe that there was a number entry problem, but he's going to check and try again.) I think many users are hesitant to use the custom styles, and any positive mention might give them the incentive to try to load the numbers in "the box".

Ron, I just tuned my Petrof III with your all in one style and it sounds great! I have always used the average setting and not much else (other than a couple of different historical temperaments), so this is the first custom style. Dave Lotek mentioned the growling in the bass, and while mine doesn't growl as much as with the average tuning, the bass is more clear and distinct. I agree too that the tenor and treble have a certain sparkle and really jump out. And something very weird...when I played after using your tuning the action seemed lighter!? I know it isn't, but it sure seems so. I am tuning a Petrof upright tomorrow and will let you know how it came out.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the feedback. No, haven't had anyone comment on the action feeling different after using this style!

A few people that tune alternate temperaments have noticed that tuning in ET with this tuning is much more pleasing for them to play than 'regular' ET has been for them in the past. (That's something I noticed as well - I used to tune almost all pianos in a mild well temperament, but have switched to almost all ET now.)
