People like these are not regular posters by a long shot. There posts are sporatic at best and only if it happens to interest them or a Kawai in Don's case.
They are far too busy to be a member of any one forum but they browse all the forums occasionally I'm sure. It's part of their job and trade. I doubt they have "left this Forum"

Here's my opinion for what it's worth.

I think to begin with, we should all at least be nice and courteous. Some of you are not. I don't see the need for being snooty or snotty.

Some of the time, we can tell the difference between someone that is asking a question for the sake of asking a question verses someone that is asking a question for the sake of learning to become a tech. It would certainly be to the writers benefit if they were to state that option too.

In another thread, there was someone asking for help regarding a scratch or something on a Steinway finish. Why attempt to fix that themselves if they have little to no knowledge of what to do? While it may seem rather simple to those of us that have done it, it really isn't. So, just hire it done. It makes no sense to me that so many people try to give advice to help someone that in all reality, will probably make matters worse and more expensive in that particular case.

One thing that gets to me often times on this tech forum is that to many of you argue with one another. Disagree, okay but, we we don't have to try and prove each wrong to make ourselves look better.
