I am thinking of replacing the hammers on my 1951 Bluthner baby grand. The sound is a bit bright and I think it is because of the worn hammers.
Do you have any suggestions which hammers I should choose? I understand Abel can refelt the hammers. Is that a good choice?
I would like the hammers to bring forth the warm, clear singing tone of my Bluthner.

Do you know any good online vendors of hammers?

Pianistical,Renner would be a good choice for your piano. You will need a Technician to do the work because it is a very involved process, and unless you are a Technician, you cannot order hammers from a supplier.
