Are prambergers voiced at all before they come out of the factory or do they need alot of work on them before they sound the "best" they can? I don't know anything about voicing or anything to do with prepping a piano. I was also wondering how long it would take a tech to work on my piano and prep it like a "concert" piano?

I think the Prams can be prepped very nicely, but it will take several hours and cost about $400 from an experienced Tech. this is why the dealers dont do it....

If you have worked on one, how many times did you apply lacquer? Should i expect a one day job?

Prambergers and lacquer don't go together.Prambergers have hammers that fall into the medium high density range \:D ,there's going to be a lot more needling going on,but please no lacquer.Once the voicing is touched up,it should remain stable for a while, and sound pretty good too.

Actually i would either steam or use hammer softener . Plus a lot of string timing ( fiting the hanner to the strings)
