Just curious... Is this piano in tune? I read a discussion about this one and would like to hear your opinion as piano tuners:

I listened to the first 1 minute or so.

Are you sure that's a piano??? It sounds synthetic to me but maybe it's just these cheap little computer speakers. If it's not synthetic I would be curious to know what kind of piano that is, like was it modified with Wapin bridges or something.

I didn't hear a tuning "problem" like bad unisons or octaves. If anything the tuning was a bit "too good" which may be the synthetic thing again or may indicate a phase-locked tuning using an electronic device and the tuner did not compensate for the "Weinreich Effect". And I'm not sure it's the standard Equal Temperament either.

Regards,

Rick Clark

Thanks, Rick.

Well, you are right. It is a piano sample library (Black Grand by www.sampletekk.com)
