I'm up to the point in my renovation where I'm familiarizing myself with the pedals. I've got the brass kickplate and pedals so you can see your face in them again. Amazing considering that they were black and green when I started. Can anyone tell me about the history of the A.F. Norris noiseless pedal action that is in my Sohmer upright. I know from the stamping that they were based out of Boston, Mass. and my pieces used buckskin and felt keybed punchings as spacers between pedals. Did Norris supply pedal systems for any other piano companies that you know of?
