You wouldn't ask that question if you knew much about tuning. The most accurate method is the one I use which can vary from piano to piano.

Piano tuning is an art which comes from an abundance of experience and insight. Tunelab and other electronic devices are tuning tools. No such tool is best; there are many devotees of each of the devices available. Tunelab has the virtue of being free for trial use.

Matching A4 to a standard pitch is not something that requires tremendous accuracy. Matching intervals, once you have that pitch, requires much more accuracy.

Cy has summed up TuneLab perfectly. Quite an awesome tuning aide.

Is it the most accurate? That's far beyond my ability to judge. Is it a great tool? Yup...even if I never used it for anything other than pitch adjustments!

The most accurate method is aural tuning. It is how master tunings are created for the PTG examines. That is what the standard is, and how we judge whether a machine tuning is good.
There is no doubt that Tunelab is a great tool.
