That's gotta' be one of the best lit pool rooms I've ever seen. Never bet against someone who looks like Howie Mandel and wears all black eh?

Comic Relief

(If you can catch it.)

Steven Spielberg's comedy drama thriller "Catch Me if You Can" (2002), starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, depicting the career of the world's most successful impersonator Frank Abagnale Jr., who, before his 19th birthday, successfully posed as a school teacher, Pan Am pilot, doctor, lawyer, etc.

Opening titles accompanied by John Williams' 1960s style piano / marimba jazz-era score.

The layout diagram with the story shows the piano centered in the fuselage. 'Smart. I hope it's anchored somehow in case of turbulence.

This is a good example of why I don't fly south for the Winter. Just look at the expense involved! grin

Anchoring? Yes, one would hope so... I wondered if it's just a case with a digital (i.e. lightweight). In turbulence I can just see anchored legs on a grand piano snapping and some 800 lbs tumbling about. eek .

I received a surprise phone call last night from Co, Jerry Groot's wife. She had been reading this thread in recent days and just now became aware of the impact Jerry Groot had on this site, and all the friends Jerry had made. Co wanted to express to everyone at Pianoworld how grateful she is for all your thoughts and prayers during the very tough period of Jerry's illness and passing. Co has been rebuilding her life in the 18 months since and I'm happy to say the family is doing well and looking to the future.
