I thought about that last night after I posted I had not seen them. Then I remembered, I tune for someone that owns a 28,000 square foot home here in town and we must put these little thingy's on our feets before we walk into the home. It's either that, or slide around on our socks all the way through the house.

It's funny how rich people build houses and are paranoid about the floors. They are meant to be walked on for cryin' out loud!

Some people are as DIFFERENT as their pianos! grin
But I would prefer the technician/tuner leave theirs shoes on, because sometimes their socks are sometimes dirtier than their shoes are, sweatier and wet from their shoes!
Lab shoe cover worn OVER their shoes is just thoughtful I'd think!

Or, Rubbers? grin My dad used to wear these all the time. I found them a pain to put on and take off so, I wear shoes that are easily removed and always have fresh socks on every day and no Diane, my feet do not stink. wink

Well yes Jerry, but how fresh are your socks when you step in the puppy pee like Bob was mentioning? So my solution is . . .

My solution was initially to help with what to wear INSIDE someones "NOT SO CLEAN" house! Not sure this is ONE size fits all. grin

You have to get INVENTIVE when you are trying to keep your feet dry when there are pets in houses who are making the carpets "SOGGY"!

This is a great HALLOWEEN costume for someones pet who's been bad this year! grin

Well, I have to admit, there have been plenty of times over the years where I did step in dog or cat pee in a home in my socks. It's disgusting to say the least. Why leave it there? Just for us? Or, do people like you put it there in anticipation of our arriving giggling the whole time?

Well my suggestion would be, in dirty houses, where there are lots of pets, don't remove your shoes! Because their pets probably pee because they are so excited that you are there, tuning their pianos! grin

Dizzy, I'm soooo dizzzy... That's all the words I know to that song.

Speaking of dizzy, if this doesn't make you dizzy, nothing will. grin
