I'm looking for tips/techniques for getting the old cam off on a Yamaha C2. The movers cranked a 4" bolt into it and it broke the 2 retaining screws. It is now impossible to back out the old bolt and the leg is dangling off the keybed. We may have to use a sawzall to hack the head off but we are still left with the problem of getting the bolt out of the cam. Would heating the bolt help ? Using an eze out ? drilling the bolt out ?? The finish is high gloss ebony polyester so working around it with a sawzall is a real challenge. Is there some type of tool that can be used to grab the cam to keep it from rotating ?
